Education is one of the most powerful drivers of individual opportunity and national development. Yet across Africa, too many children move through school without acquiring the foundational knowledge and skills they need to learn, participate and thrive.

Our Approach

Moreshet Foundation works to strengthen the foundations of learning by supporting approaches that improve learning outcomes, strengthen educators and generate evidence for education systems. Our work begins with the learner, but looks beyond the classroom. We are particularly interested in the early and foundational years, when literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and other core competencies are established.
